YDN Speaker Seriers - Heart of Stone Movie Screening-- Wednsday, October 27. 2010 -- 5:30pm Registration and 6:00pm Screening

This film is a moving story of how youth development principles can make a difference in the lives of our most at-risk students.  The film demonstrates how a school and community can work together, across race, faith, and age to support their students.

Award-winning documentary film director Beth Toni Kruvant will be attending the event,as well a panel of local stakeholders who worh with gang related youth. 

Evening hosted by the Youth Development Network (YDN) is dedicated to creating life-changing experiences for youth to thrive and succeed.  For 9 years, YDN’s training programs, networking and public policy efforts have worked together to improve the quality of youth services across a broad range of communities, youth serving organizations, education, faith groups, juvenile justice agencies and businesses.  YDN envisions communities filled with youth who can achieve personal and academic success; be connected to adults and their community; have a positive vision of their future and grow up to be healthy, productive and civic-minded adults.   (Please visit their website at www.ydnetwork.org for additional information.)
