    Outdoor Recreation Leadership is an interactive hands-on training that equips adults with the skills and confidence to lead outdoor recreation activities with an emphasis on camping.  Participants are certified to use the FamCamp® program so that they can introduce underserved populations of their communities to the benefits of outdoor recreation.

    The FamCamp® program is available for use by non-profit community based organizations that work with underserved populations who don't normally have access to the outdoors.

    Building a Bridge from Middle School to High School

    Step Up and/or Amp Up participants will have the opportunity to attend a special session on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 2, 2011, that will focus on building a bridge from middle school to high school in after school. These sessions are open to both Step Up and Amp Up participants.

  • Taller Arte del Nuevo Amanecer (TANA) is a community art center located in Woodland at 1224 Lemen Avenue and managed by the Chicana/o Studies Department at UC Davis hosted its open house in June -- check out their website and blog:
