Outdoor Recreation Leadership is an interactive hands-on training that equips adults with the skills and confidence to lead outdoor recreation activities with an emphasis on camping. Participants are certified to use the FamCamp® program so that they can introduce underserved populations of their communities to the benefits of outdoor recreation. Learn more
The FamCamp® program is available for use by non-profit community based organizations that work with underserved populations who don't normally have access to the outdoors.

- June 15, 2010 --Breaking Gang Ties — Addressing The Mentality Of Youth & Gang Violence -- Series 2 of Addressing "Thug Life" -- The City of Sacramento's Neighborhood Services and the Office of Youth Development. These workshops are free and geared towards educating and increasing awareness about the issues and mentality that plague youth involved in and/or effected by youth/ gang violence. These workshop will also address how to engage at-risk youth and guide them toward positive change. - November 2-4, 2010 -- Register for the Step Up High School Summit -- The second annual Step-Up High School Summit will feature dynamic workshops and speakers, engaging youth performances, and a myriad of networking opportunities for high school after school practitioners and stakeholders. Last year’s summit was attended at capacity with national high school program and school administrators, as well as high school after school program directors and staff. The Network has worked hard to keep the costs low for this year’s summit. 2010 summit dates are November 2-4.
