• Exploring the Exploratorium Free Online STEM Resources
  Cheri Chord and Judith Shotwell will offer a free telephone workshop on science and math enrichment activities on November 19, 2008 from 10:00 11:00. This telephone workshop will expose participants to free online educational resources provided by the Exploratorium.  The Exploratorium resources include hands on activities, digital videos, professional-development materials, program support resources, research publications, concept maps, and teaching tips.   Region 3 CalSAC Training Institute
  The Region 3 CalSAC (California School Age Consortium) will be offering free training on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from October 2008 to February 2009 as part of the Region 3 CalSAC Training Institute.  The workshops will cover a variety of topics relevant to after school youth workers.  Workshops will be led by Cheri Chord, Beryl Johnson, and other Region 3 (Sacramento Region) CalSAC trainers.  For more information, to access the roster, and to register for free Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday trainings click here.
