Board of Directors Meetings:

The YDN Board of Directors meets on a quarterly basis throughout the year. If you are interested in learning more about supporting the YDN as a Board member please e-mail Bina Lefkovitz at or Helen Yee at for additional details.


Program Committee Meetings:

Committee Purpose:

    • Advise YDN on strategic direction related to strengthening the systems that support a strong human services workforce and high quality youth programs
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of YDN and its partners strategies
    • Help link YDN to the needs of the field to inform our work
    • Create partnerships to support the goals of creating a regional network to advance youth development
    • Advise YDN on how to strengthen its connecting/ information dissemination activities
    • Help YDN refine  and carry out its policy strategies
    • ID emerging youth issues

Member roles and responsibilities:

    • Commit to attend regularly the six meetings per year
    • Be an advocate for the youth development approach in your sphere of influence
    • Be a team player and committed to collaborating with others
    • Be prepared for meetings
    • Be informed about the mission of YDN and the principals/research  of youth development
    • Help market YDN mission and activities
    • Support cross sector work by sharing  information about what  you and others are doing to support youth development/seek ways to partner with YDN and network members
