Youth Camps

Youth  Development  Network’s  (YDN)  Youth  Leadership Camps  are  planned  and  facilitated  in  partnership with  YDN  trained  youth  and  expert  adult  facilitators.  The  activities  and  curriculum  are  in  alignment  with Common  Core  standards,  LCFF/LCAP  priorities  of  1) student  engagement,  2) school  climate   and  3) student achievement, and also develop 21st Century Skills. The camp content can be customized to include components from a menu of options.

The Leadership Camp content links various components to build learning opportunities, develop college/career/life-ready skills, enhance community safety, and ensure healthier, more vibrant communities.  At their heart, the Leadership Camps are designed to provide the key supports & opportunities that are most likely are not available in traditional education settings and are unknown and/or inaccessible to the “at promise” youth targeted for these camps.
